HandleBar celebrates its 15th anniversary this month with a blowout block party bash. Denizens of the Grove know HandleBar for sweaty dance parties, themed events & bike rides, & undying dedication to fun & silliness, all while promoting inclusivity & community. In partnership with friends & performing artists, we’re throwing one hell of a carnival in the parking lot behind the bar. You’ll dunk your favorite bartender, gladiator-joust bar owner Tatyana Telnikova, & have a corn dog with a drag queen. There’ll be silly races, farm animals to pet including a mini pony, face painting with Isabel, and an all-day dance floor. Kids enter free starting at 4p; the event is 21+ after 6p. Adult wristbands are $10 and include all activities. Carnival food & our regular menu will be available for purchase, as well as refreshments that feature our curated cocktail menu along with cans from 4 Hands Brewing Company, our generous sponsor. The evening will culminate in a 2 hour stage extravaganza featuring the best of HandleBar:
